So whats it all about??

In our crazy busy, disposable world Eat. Love. Yoga is a little haven for you (and the planet). We provide ethical, plastic free items and a place for you to relax and unwind.

With eat in and take away options in the cosy cafe, selling ethically sourced drinks, a selection of gluten free, dairy free, reduced sugar sweets and savoury snacks and light meals that taste ‘oh so good’ and are all Vegan friendly. You can pop in and enjoy a coffee or get a takeout on your way to work or before hopping on the train all while reducing the impact on our planet. We encourage waste reduction so discounts will be provided if you bring your own cups and containers for the take away options.

The plastic free shop will be a place to fill up on your household essentials without the non-recyclable packaging. 30+ everyday products like pasta, grains, pulses and much more, plus plastic free kitchen and bathroom alternatives. Bring your own containers or use our paper bags and reduce the amount of plastic packaging that goes to landfill.

Whether you’re on a plastic free journey or just looking for ways to cut down your plastic consumption. Every little change we make helps to turn the tide on global plastic pollution and makes our own lives healthier to boot.

we strive to sell completely plastic free products at an affordable and comparable price. We believe that living a more sustainable life should be accessible and affordable to everyone with any budget. We will offer a good range of eco products all under one roof to help you make positive changes more easily.

The studio space will be Kidderminster’s first independent Yoga and Pilates studio. The space holds 8 people keeping classes small and making it a more tailored and personal experience for you. A place for you to switch off from the outside world and immerse yourself into your practice. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, we will provide you with a space to practice in a supportive and nurturing environment. We will be offering a range of Yoga,  mat based Pilates classes, workshops and 1-1’s.

About Me…

Hi, my name is Lisa and I am the founder of Eat. Love. Yoga, a 3 in 1 ethical cafe, plastic free shop and Yoga and Pilates studio based in Kidderminster.  My mission is to source ethical and sustainable alternatives to help reduce the amount of plastics in our everyday lives, to support the community and help make the world a better place.

I have a diploma in mat based Pilates and 200 hour Yoga teacher training qualification. Along with reducing plastic, teaching is my passion in life. I have been teaching in Kidderminster for over two years and have a personal practice of over 10 years. I have practised Yoga and Pilates across the world and with a range of amazing teachers and have built my style on what I love and have learnt along the way. Each class is different, unique and personal. Making it YOUR practice and encouraging you to move and connect with your body, no matter your level, ability, flexibility or strength.

I started my reducing plastic journey 3 years ago and as much as I have made many changes in my home and life, I found living in a smaller town with no alternative options to supermarket packaged products extremely challenging. And so……. Eat.Love.Yoga was born. I tried for 6 months to go completely plastic free and found it restrictive and very challenging. In our society plastic is EVERYWHERE. But it also makes life convenient and easy. So now I believe in reducing plastics where and when we can. If you just make one swap to your weekly shop, that is one less plastic packet going to landfill. I created Eat.Love.Yoga to give you as the consumer that option, to make the choice easier and more accessible.  I truly believe that small changes make big changes, baby steps become big steps, And that everybody’s choices, no matter how small, can make a difference.

My top tip…

If you have already started your plastic free journey or are just starting out, my advice would be to gradually incorporate changes into your daily life rather than overloading yourself and becoming overwhelmed or discouraged at the first hurdle!  The whole experience should be creative and fun – not about going around replacing everything plastic for the sake of it – that would be counter productive.  For me it’s more about acting with the intention to make the best choices we can that reflect our budget and lifestyle.

Pop along to the shop, have a chat and check out how it all works.

And remember, if we all just make small changes it will make a huge difference to the amount of plastic ending up in our oceans or in landfill.
